VINEYARDS

The properties of the “CANTINE BOFFO” extend to the municipality of Ponte di Piave and from 2020 to the municipality of Breganze (VI); they consist of 10 ha of vineyards cultivated with training systems focused on quality production. The grape yields per hectare are around 100 quintals with a production per plant that varies from 1.5 to 3 kg depending on the cultivar.

The land where the vineyards are located are alluvial and are divided into two types:

  • medium mixture of sandy-silty type
  • clayey compact

In the first type, white grape cultivars are grown: Pinot bianco, Pinot Grigio, Chardonnay, Glera, Verduzzo Treviso.

In the second type, red grape varieties are grown: Pinot Noir, Cabernet franc, Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Malbech and Raboso

Much attention is paid to the health protection of the vineyards with “guided struggle” interventions aimed at absolute respect for the plant and the territory, using plant protection products with low environmental impact, thus respecting, in addition to tradition, also safety while respecting the environment
